Energy consulting for owners and landlords
We assess existing buildings, put the measures in the order that makes economic sense, and see the funding application through. Manufacturer-neutral, because we sell no equipment.
The order of works decides the economics
A heat pump in an uninsulated building runs at high flow temperatures, consumes more electricity than it should and misses the bonuses that would have been available. The same heat pump, installed after the envelope has been dealt with, is a different proposition entirely.
That is what an individual refurbishment roadmap is for: it sets the sequence, keeps the measures compatible with one another and raises the BEG grant from 15 to 20 % at the same time.
It also protects against the most expensive mistake in the process – commissioning work before the application has been filed, which forfeits the grant for that measure with no way back.

Funding through KfW and BAFA requires an expert listed for that particular category. K&S Energy is entered in the German federal register of energy efficiency experts for residential and non-residential buildings, for refurbishment and for new build. See all listings.
From the first question to the finished work
First conversation
Year of construction, size, existing heating, and what has prompted the enquiry. That is usually enough for a first technical assessment, and it costs nothing.
Survey on site
We record the building envelope and the plant, take readings where documents are missing and note what the drawings do not show.
Assessment
Calculation, comparison of options and the sequence of measures, with costs, funding and the payback period for each.
Support
Funding application, tender documents, contractor recommendations and verification through to completion.
Is the measure you are planning worth it?
Tell us briefly about the property – year of construction, size, existing heating. You get a first technical assessment back, before you commission anything.
